Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel RN for the PCU in Columbus, Ohio. The assignment is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts. Active RN license, nursing degree, and BLS are required, plus 18 months’ experience in PCU/step-down. Travel benefits and housing options are offered.

Qualifications

Active RN License.
Degree from accredited nursing program.
BLS Certification.
Eighteen months of recent experience in Acute Care PCU/Step-down.
Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition. Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data and information from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.
Document the patient’s plan of care using identified nursing diagnoses, expected patient outcomes, and nursing interventions.
Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
Revise and document the plan of care according to evaluation and changes in medical plan of care.
