Job summary
American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit role in Ohio. The ideal candidate holds an OH or compact license, has PCU experience, and is comfortable with rotating day and night shifts.
The position requires BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and ACEN or CCNE-accredited education. Teaching hospital experience is preferred, with strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and patient monitoring.
Qualifications
- Active OH or compact RN license at time of consideration.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 12 months.
- At least 1 year of PCU experience.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
- Teaching hospital experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Care for Oncology Telemetry unit with PCU level care.
- Float within units of equal or lower acuity as needed.
- Operate telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps.
- Adhere to infection prevention and fall prevention protocols.
- Use Epic charting for patient records.
- Collaborate with team during 12-hour rotating shifts.
