American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position in Kentucky. The role requires 2 years of acute PCU experience, Epic proficiency, and a KY or compact RN license. Night shifts are 6:45 PM–7:15 AM with a rotating weekend schedule and a 36-hour workweek.

You will operate in a hospital setting using the Epic EMR, provide patient- and family-centered care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support quality outcomes and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient PCU RN experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Nursing Diploma or ASN required
No local rate drop for candidates residing in the area

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care
Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff, functioning as mentor/preceptor
Facilitate patient and family education specific to care needs, treatment, and discharge planning
Participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives and comply with regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient and organizational needs
