Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring 1 year of PCU experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Details

Acute care hospital setting with 255 staffed beds
PCU/Telemetry unit caring for acutely ill adult patients with cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary, and other diagnoses
Patient ratio of 1:5
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
Every other Saturday required, with Sundays off
Uses Meditech charting system (experience preferred)

Requirements

Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience required
