American Traveler, LLC is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit in Oklahoma City. The role requires a compact or OK RN license and prior travel nursing experience, with Epic charting experience preferred.

The 13-week assignment features a 7:00 AM–7:00 PM day shift, patient ratio 1:4, and duties across cardiac, respiratory, renal, and neurological conditions in a stepdown setting. Housing allowances and benefits are included.

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care (IMC) unit position requiring a compact or OK RN license and prior travel experience.

Requirements

• Active compact or OK RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, IV therapy, and line management
• Experience with respiratory care including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and tracheostomy management
• Experience with neurological and psychiatric conditions including seizure disorders and substance withdrawal
• Two supervisory references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and recent utility bill with matching address required for consideration

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment on an Intermediate Care (IMC)/Stepdown unit
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Epic charting system used
• Floating required to meet facility needs within scope
• No block scheduling accommodations available
• Provide care for patients with cardiac, respiratory, renal, and neurological conditions in a stepdown/IMC setting
• Participate in facility training modules during orientation, varying in length by specialty
• Maximum of 5 days RTO per 13-week assignment with no holidays or blackout dates permitted
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Previous facility employees must have a minimum of 1 year separation from the health system to be eligible
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this position
