Qualifications

• Active RN license GA or Compact currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
• 2 years stepdown IMCU experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in an IMCU stepdown unit bridging PCU and ICU.
• Manage vented patients and critical drips.
• Maintain 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Proficient medication management.
• Operate MEDITECH EMR charting.
• Work night shift 7p-7a with 12-hour shifts and 48 hours/week.
• Complete 17-week assignment with 16 hours orientation.
• Ensure high-acuity patient support in stepdown unit.
• Eligibility excludes recent employment within last 12 months.
• Must reside more than 75 miles from facility.
