Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Step Down for the Heart Vascular Moderate Care Unit in Georgia. The role requires an active GA or Compact RN license and at least 18 months of RN experience. The position features a 12-hour AM shift and a 13-week assignment with no on-call duties.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in the Heart Vascular Moderate Care Unit (Step Down) of a hospital setting.
• 12-hour AM shift schedule.
• 13-week assignment length.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Provide step-down level nursing care to cardiac and vascular patients.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted.
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility.
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday.
• Only one holiday request is permitted during the assignment.
