Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is hiring a Travel RN for Telemetry in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on cardiac telemetry, oncology patient care, and complex interventional cases within a hospital setting.

The RN should have 2–3 years of general RN experience with telemetry, current BLS/ACLS, and EPIC charting experience. Night shifts are 3x12 hours, with 36 hours per week and travel requirements.

• Proficiency in telemetry management and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with cardiac drip titration
• Trauma Level I/II experience

• Prior travel nursing experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Oncology experience a plus
• Chemotherapy administration, port access/management, and biotherapy preferred
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry monitoring and care for cardiac interventional, hemodialysis, chemotherapy, and pre-open heart patients
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips and interpret dysrhythmias
• Support oncology patients with chemotherapy administration and management of related emergencies
• Required orientation modules completed and signed off by facility managers
• Local travelers accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers

Description

American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit requiring Trauma Level I/II experience and cardiac drip titration proficiency.

Details

• Medical Telemetry Oncology Unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes cardiac interventional cases such as TAVR, Mitral Clips, Watchman, Lead Extraction TR Bands, complex PCI Angiogram, dysrhythmias, and vascular procedures
• Also cares for hemodialysis, chemotherapy infusion, and pre-open heart patients
• Patient ratio of 1:5
• Utilizes Nurse Telemetry Driven Protocol to assist with patient throughput
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 18:45-7:15
• Floating within the hospital may be required based on patient care needs
• No block schedule requests accepted

Requirements

• Active WA or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2-3 years of overall RN experience with at least 2 years of telemetry experience
• Proficiency in telemetry management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and cardiac drip titration required
• Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Oncology experience a plus
• Experience with chemotherapy administration, port access/management, and biotherapy preferred
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, disclosed at time of consideration

Additional Information
