Job summary

UPMC System Float Team is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our internal travel staffing program. Rotate to different UPMC facilities every six weeks across Pennsylvania, New York, and Western Maryland, delivering high-quality care in medical-surgical and emergency settings.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Emergency Department settings preferred.
• Experienced RN with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks.
• Demonstrate clinical judgment and problem-solving skills in patient care.
• Communicate patient status with physicians and healthcare team.
• Follow hospital policies and infection control practices.
• Build relationships across diverse clinical environments.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, and professional development.
