Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care in assigned UPMC facilities and units.
• Rotate assignments approximately every six weeks, with potential redeployments for operational needs.
• Apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and problem-solving in patient care.
• Communicate patient status and changes clearly with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, patient safety standards, and infection control practices.
• Build effective working relationships across diverse clinical environments and care teams.
• Participate in patient education, discharge planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development.

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus! Eligible candidates may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment. Current UPMC employees are not eligible for the sign-on bonus program.
