Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and signs/symptoms; apply nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.
• Document the care plan with nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the care plan as medical conditions change.
