Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires an Active RN license, a nursing degree, and 18 months of recent Step-down/PCU experience, with a 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week. Day shifts, 12-hour days, travel employment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Other requirements determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms; apply nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; document nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Document plan of care with nursing diagnoses, outcomes, and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document plan of care based on evaluation and changes in medical plan.
