Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel RN for a PCU position in Columbus, Ohio. The 13-week assignment offers 36 hours per week, with 12-hour days, for a travel nurse in a Stepdown setting.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. PCCN/NIHSS certifications are a plus. Fusion provides comprehensive benefits and recruiter support for travelers.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• One year of Stepdown RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs; respond to abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments per nursing protocols.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and exams.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health and risk factors.
• Document assessments and communicate with the care team.
