Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU (Progressive Care Unit) for a 16-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH. The position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift and the chance to provide high‑quality telemetry‑focused care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current RN license in good standing per state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, telemetry data, and vital signs.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
