Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown in Morgantown, WV. The role is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, night shifts (3x12s) from 19:00 to 07:00, requiring stepdown/telemetry expertise.

The ideal candidate holds an WV or compact RN license, BCLS and ACLS certifications, and has 1+ year in telemetry/medical-surgical stepdown. This travel position includes housing and meal stipends and travel reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5–2 years RN experience with 1 year medical-surgical/telemetry and 2 years in stepdown care
• Current RN license in West Virginia or a compact state
• Certifications required: BCLS and ACLS
• Experience managing patients on cardiac drips and telemetry monitoring

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients
• Monitor telemetry readings and vital signs
• Manage IV therapies and administer medications as prescribed
• Assess and evaluate patient conditions and progress
• Assist with procedures and provide post-operative care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
