Cross Country Nurses in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a travel RN for a Stepdown unit assignment. The role involves caring for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions, including EEG monitoring, on a 12-hour night shift schedule.

This travel position requires a valid RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and a minimum of 2 years of experience. Onboarding includes orientation and potential float to related units as needed.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Valid RN licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Float rotations may be required to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units.
• 12-hour night shifts; 48 hours per week; 1830–0700 schedule.
• Travel assignment; 13-week duration; 50-mile radius rule.

Responsibilities

• Provide stepdown unit care for adult and geriatric patients.
• Titrate cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and DM meds; monitor EEG.
• Collaborate with RNs and care team to ensure safety and protocols.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and adjust care plans as needed.
