ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The Stepdown/Immediate Care Unit RN provides high-quality care, monitors telemetry and vital signs, manages IV therapies and medications, and collaborates with the care team. The position involves a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week, night shifts, and a patient load of 1:4 (1:5 in emergencies).

Qualifications

• Minimum 1.5–2 years RN experience with at least 1 year in medical-surgical/telemetry.
• 2 years in stepdown care and current WV license or compact
• Certifications: BCLS and ACLS

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to stepdown patients.
• Monitor telemetry readings and vital signs.
• Manage IV therapies and administer medications as prescribed.
• Assess patient conditions and progress.
• Assist with procedures and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care.
