ARMStaffing seeks a Travel RN with Stepdown experience for a 13-week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The role covers stepdown/MedSurg, with a 12-hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and a 36-hour work week.

The RN will care for stepdown/med-surg patients, manage drips per physician orders, and collaborate with 24/7 support staff. EPIC experience, BLS, and RN license are required; prior stepdown/med-surg exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have EPIC experience.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
• Experience in stepdown and med-surg nursing preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a 6 patient (med-surg) or a 3 patient (stepdown) ratio.
• Titrate drips as per physician orders for medications such as Heparin, insulin, anti-hypertensives, and pain management medications.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors available 24/7.
• Work alongside Clinical Associates to ensure optimal patient care with a 1:10 CA ratio.
• Monitor patients using Phillips telemetry equipment through a remote telemetry surveillance center.
