American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Stepdown Telemetry ICU position in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The role requires a SC or compact RN license, telemetry competency, and Epic charting experience.

Shifts are nights, 12 hours, with a 36-hour workweek and a 1:4 patient ratio. This assignment is 13 weeks long with ASAP start. Perks include travel and licensure reimbursements, medical/dental/vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) plan, weekly payroll, and non-taxed per diems.

Qualifications

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license required prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of stepdown or ICU RN experience required; 2 years preferred.
• Current certifications required: BLS and NIHSS (AHA only); ACLS and CPI preferred.
• Telemetry competency and cardiac telemetry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the stepdown ICU unit of an acute care hospital.
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (6:45 pm – 7:15 am).
• Patient ratio is 1:4.
• Float within scope to similar units as needed.
• Epic EMR is used and previous Epic experience is required.
• Expected to work every other weekend.
• No on-call responsibilities.
