The travel assignment on a 26-bed unit requires monitoring via central telemetry, administering medications such as Cardizem, Lasix, and dopamine, and floating within the unit with a 1:5 ratio.

Qualifications

• Min. 2 years of RN experience in relevant setting.
• Active IL RN license or proof of application.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient status on a 26-bed step-down unit with 1:4 or 1:5 ratios.
• Administer medications such as Cardizem, Lasix, dopamine, nitro.
• Respond to clinical changes and coordinate with tele monitor tech.
• Provide night-shift nursing care for complex cardiac/respiratory conditions.
