Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. seeks an ICU RN/ Surgical ICU nurse for Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. The unit handles trauma, post-surgical ICU care including post CABG and post-TAVR, with team-based care and high-acuity patient management.

Must have 1 year of ICU experience in an acute care hospital and active ACLS/BLS certifications; NIH certification is a plus. Strong critical thinking and collaboration are essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• NIH (or equivalent) certification may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trauma patients and post-surgical ICU care including post CABG, post-TAVR.
• Care for chest tubes, central lines and medication drips.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity ICU setting.

• Patient Ratios 1:2; 1:1 for high acuity including post CABG patients - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
• Type of equipment Balloon pumps; CRRT; Hypothermia; ECMO
• EMR - Meditech

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience
• ACLS, BLS & NIH
