Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. seeks a travel RN to join the CVICU team at Medical City Fort Worth on a 7pm-7am shift. The unit cares for cardiovascular critical care patients and requires strong ICU skills and team collaboration.

Candidates must have 2+ years of critical care experience, ventilator, central line, and chest tube management; Meditech experience preferred. Weekend shifts biweekly; no on-call. This contract offers exposure to high-acuity care in a busy urban hospital.

Qualifications

• 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU any Critical Care specialty).
• Ventilator experience, Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in CVICU unit as a travel assignment.
• Monitor hemodynamics and manage lines/tubes.
• Collaborate with team to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.
• Attend 2 weekend shifts biweekly; no on-call.

• Number of Beds - 16

Number of Staff 45

• Type of staff: All RN
  • Day Shift 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
  • Night Shift - 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Patient Ratios 2:1; ( 2 patients : 1 RN)
• Type of equipment Client monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Implella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, Chest tubes, vents
• EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for:

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• 2 years of critical care experience. (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU any Critical Care specialty)
• Ventilator experience, Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• CVICU specific, CABG recovery, CRRT, Impella
• Meditech experience
• BSN, CCRN
