American Traveler is seeking a Psychiatric RN for a night shift on a behavioral health unit in Dubuque, IA. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, nights (3x12s), with on-call as needed.

• BLS certification (AHA or ARC) required.
• 24 months of current psych/behavioral health experience required.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Charge experience required.
• Experience with Geri patient population required.
• De-escalation certification preferred (MOAB, MAB, CPI, or SAMA), can be obtained during onboarding.
• Driver's license required for consideration.
• Professional reference from supervisor, charge nurse, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within past 24 months preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a behavioral health unit.
• Holiday coverage required for 1-2 of the 3 upcoming summer holidays.
• First-time travelers accepted with required 24 months of psych/behavioral health experience.
• Local candidates not accepted within 90 miles of the facility.
• Past UPH employees are ineligible to work travel assignments at any UPH market facility.

• Patient ratios up to 1:9
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week
• No 48-hour weeks
• On-call required approximately 1x per pay period as needed
