American Traveler is hiring a Behavioral Health RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring prior travel and behavioral health experience.

Details

• Behavioral Health unit with 16 rooms and 30 beds
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active TX RN license (State or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required; SAMA certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required, specifically in Behavioral Health
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care within a Behavioral Health unit
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Not eligible for candidates residing in Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris counties
• Former staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
• All requested time off must be submitted for consideration
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted for this position
