Job summary
MedPro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN PACU for a Cedar Rapids, Iowa assignment. You will join a PACU team to provide post-anesthesia recovery care, monitor patients waking from anesthesia, and coordinate care with the surgical team.
The role offers a 13-week travel contract with 40 hours weekly and 16-hour shifts. Requires active RN license, nursing degree, BLS and ACLS, and 18 months PACU experience.
Qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Eighteen months of recent PACU experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for post-anesthesia patients recovering from anesthesia in PACU.
- Monitor and reassess patients as they wake and after surgery.
