Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN for PreOp/PACU - Post Anesthesia Care in Kirkland, WA. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and an engaging perioperative care team.

The Post/Pre-Op RN will assess patients, educate on procedures, monitor recovery, manage pain, document care, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes. Candidates need 1 year of Pre/Post-Op RN experience, WA RN license, and active BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in WA.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess pre-operatively, review medical history and risks.
• Educate patients about procedures and post-operative care.
• Monitor post-operative recovery and manage pain.
• Document assessments, interventions and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
