Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Salem, Oregon. This 16-week assignment offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts in a facility-based role.

The candidate should have 1 year of Pre/Post-Op RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS. ACLS/PALS preferred. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and competitive pay for travel professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess pre-operative patients, including reviewing medical history and vital signs
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and post-operative care
• Monitor post-operative patients for complications and manage pain
• Administer prescribed medications and document care in records
• Collaborate with the surgical team for comprehensive pre- and post-operative care
