Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing seeks a travel nurse RN for PreOp / PACU in Redwood City, CA. This 13-week assignment offers 40 hours per week, days shift, and a travel employment arrangement.

As a Post/Pre-Op RN, you’ll assess patients before and after surgery, administer treatments, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team. Requires 1 year of pre/post-op RN experience, active RN license, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-operatively and post-operatively
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on procedures and care
• Monitor post-operative recovery and manage pain
• Document assessments and interventions in medical records
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure comprehensive care
• Operate pre/post-op equipment and assist with procedures
