Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PreOp / PACU for a 13-week assignment in Sewell, New Jersey. The Post/Pre-Op RN provides care to patients before and after anesthesia and collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient recovery.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Pre/Post-Op RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess pre-op patients and review medical history.
• Prepare patients for surgery and educate on post-op care.
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and manage pain.
• Document assessments and care plans in medical records.
• Collaborate with surgical teams for coordinated care.
• Respond to emergencies per standards.
• Maintain patient safety and infection control.
