Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in the applicable state(s) of practice/employment.
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Credentialing per specialty area (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, PALS). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Perform professional nursing assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support quality and improvement initiatives.
• Adapt to new responsibilities and diverse practice settings.
