Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center, Waterloo, IA, is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice – Trinity Health's mobile staffing solution. Position offers part-time hours, day shift, and opportunities nationwide and regionally.

RNs must hold an active license in the applicable state, have 18+ months Med-Surg/Tele/PCU or 2+ years in other specialties, and maintain required credentials (ACLS, TNCC, PALS, BLS).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in applicable state(s)
• Minimum 18 months Med Surg/Tele/PCU experience
• Minimum 2 years experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED or Behavioral Health
• Credentials per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, etc) and BLS/ACLS/PALS through American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations and regions as needed
• Apply nursing process: Assess, identify outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate
• Work independently within license and scope of practice
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes
• Adapt to new ideas and manage competing priorities
• Demonstrate agility and willingness to take on new responsibilities
