Job summary

MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for FirstChoice staffing across the health system. Part-time, 12-hour day shifts with flexible assignments in various locations throughout the network.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in applicable state(s).
• 18+ months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• 2+ years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED and Behavioral Health.
• Credentials per specialty area (ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float across hospital locations/regions as needed.
• Adhere to standard nursing processes: assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within license, scope of knowledge, and experience.
• Maintain accountability for delegation and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.

Education
