Job summary

MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Iowa seeks experienced RN travel nurses through FirstChoice to fill short and long-term assignments across sites and regions. The program offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel/per diem opportunities with diverse practice settings.

As an RN, you will float to Med Surg, Tele, PCU, or other specialty areas, collaborating with care teams to ensure quality outcomes and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid RN licensure authorized in applicable state(s).
• Minimum 18 months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience for Critical Care, Surgical, Maternal, ED, Behavioral Health.
• Required credentials per specialty (ACLS/TNCC/etc); BLS/ACLS/PALS via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply professional nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Act independently within licensure and scope of practice.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
