American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op/PACU travel assignment in Washington. Must hold WA state or compact RN license, BLS and PALS, with at least 2 years of recent relevant experience and prior travel nursing background.

Epic EMR experience is required. The role features 4x10-hour shifts (Mon–Fri 0530–1600, Sat 0630–1700), no on-call, some holidays, and housing/travel/licensure reimbursements.

• Active WA state or compact RN license required.
• BLS and PALS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent relevant experience required.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with breathing treatments and CPAP/BiPAP.
• Two supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsabilidades

• Hospital-based Pre-Op and Phase II PACU unit caring for both inpatients and outpatients through discharge home.
• Supports a wide range of surgical specialties including general surgery, vascular, plastics, thoracic (no open hearts), ENT, GYN, dental, podiatry (no ortho), and eye procedures.
• Occasional pre-op support for cath lab (vascular only) and endoscopy procedures.
• Approximately 3-4% pediatric patient population; travelers are not assigned to pediatric cases.
• 4x10-hour day shifts, weekdays 0530-1600 and weekends 0630-1700.
• Floating required between Pre-Op and PACU only, no floating to other campuses.
• No call requirements.
• Responsibilities include pre-op assessment, patient education, medication administration, and discharge instructions.
• Performs pre/post procedural care for cath lab and endoscopy patients.
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day).
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated.
• Former permanent Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the local candidate rate.
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role.
