Job summary

SENTARA WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (Traveler) for the Inpatient Post Surgical Unit. This 14-week night assignment offers $65 per hour and focuses on post-surgical medical-surgical care.

Requirements include a current Virginia RN license, BLS and NIHSS certification, and EPIC documentation experience. 2+ years of recent bedside Med-Surg nursing with surgical concentration are required.

Qualifications

• Must have AT LEAST 2 yrs of RECENT bedside RN experience in Medical Surgical with a concentration of surgical
• EPIC documentation system experience required
• CURRENT BLS AND NIHSS required

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Perform teaching, health promotion and coordination of care for patients.
• Maintain standards of practice and professional performance.
