SENTARA WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Registered Nurse (Traveler) for the Inpatient Post Surgical Unit. This 14-week night assignment offers $65 per hour and focuses on post-surgical medical-surgical care.

Requirements include a current Virginia RN license, BLS and NIHSS certification, and EPIC documentation experience. 2+ years of recent bedside Med-Surg nursing with surgical concentration are required.

Qualifications

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‒based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing. The RN possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.

Meets and maintains any requirements defined by a specific specialty

Education

• RN Degree - ADN, BSN or MSN

Certification/Licensure
