Job summary

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Med/Surg unit on a 14-week travel assignment.

Applicants must have 2+ years of acute care RN experience and hold a Virginia or Compact license; BLS and NIH stroke scale are required.

The role offers night shifts at $65.00 per hour as a temporary full-time contract with no benefits.

Qualifications

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of current acute care hospital RN experience.
• Associates/Bachelor/Master's degree or diploma in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care on a 24-bed Medical/Surgical Cardiac Unit with telemetry.
• Assess and monitor patients on telemetry and coordinate with care team.
• Administer medications and perform nursing duties per policy.
