Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric ICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring PALS certification and PICU experience. The role is performed in a hospital PICU with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM schedule.

Candidates must hold an active RN license (VA or Compact) and current BLS/PALS non-expiring within 30 days. A minimum of 2 years PICU experience and 1 professional reference are required; housing, travel, and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience.
• Active RN license for VA or Compact.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications not expiring within 30 days of start.
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration.
• One professional reference required (two for some states).

Responsibilities

• Work in the PICU of a hospital setting.
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule.
• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.

• Current BLS and PALS certifications from AHA or ARC, not expiring within 30 days of start
• Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
• One professional reference required (two required for Florida and Missouri)

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with a 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule
• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility as local candidates are not accepted
