Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Dialysis RN for a hospital-based unit in Oklahoma. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of RN patient care experience and an active nursing license in the state or via eNLC, with BLS ready at hire.

Duties include dialysis care, patient assessment, meds administration, and coordination with physicians. Day shifts run 5:00 AM–5:30 PM on a 12-hour schedule, three days per week (Mon, Wed, Fri).

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact eNLC).
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• 3-5 years of patient care experience as a Registered Nurse required.
• Strong computer skills for quality and safety documentation.
• Full date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Pediatric Dialysis unit of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
• Shift hours are 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned patient or group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and treatments.
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed, administers medications, and manages IV infusions and blood products.
• Communicates care plans with patients and families throughout treatment and at discharge.
• Delegates tasks to clinical support staff and collaborates with the care team.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position.
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no flexibility for start date delays.
