Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, Indiana. The role involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts in a Level I unit focused on cardiac telemetry and patient stability.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Preferred PCCN and NIHSS credentials may enhance opportunities.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) and ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Preferred certifications may include PCCN and NIHSS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Document nursing assessments and patient responses to interventions.
• Provide patient education on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
