Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU (Stepdown) for a 13-week assignment in Evansville, Indiana. The PCU RN will work 36 hours per week on a Nights 12-hour shift as a Travel position.

The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and certifications including BLS and ACLS; NIH certification is mentioned. The PCU nurse will monitor cardiac patients, manage meds and IVs, and respond to emergencies in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize critical cardiac patients.
• Monitor and adjust patient status and medications.
• Operate and interpret monitoring equipment and report changes.
• Assist with IVs, dressings, and catheter care.
