Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lima, OH. The role involves monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and collaborating with the care team to provide safe, patient-centered telemetry care.

Start date is for a travel assignment with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. Ideal candidates hold a valid RN license (state regulations), BLS and ACLS, plus one year of stepdown experience.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs to detect abnormalities and respond.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Aids physicians during cardiac-related procedures and examinations.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
• Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive telemetry care.
• Adheres to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory standards.
