Job summary

TotalMed RN in Columbus, OH is seeking a travel PCU RN for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour nights. Start date is 10/05/2026. Must have ACLS/BLS and 1–2 years of recent acute care experience. Responsibilities include bedside care, IVs, med administration, and monitoring of cardiac patients.

Role requires adapting to a fast-paced PCU/step-down environment and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Travel status and stipends apply as per TotalMed RN program.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Travel RN assignment in Columbus, OH with 13-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret patient vitals and equipment; adjust care as needed.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate corrective action when monitoring shows adverse signs.
