Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week travel assignment in Winston Salem, NC. This role focuses on Stepdown/Telemetry care with 12-hour night shifts and 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures
• Maintains safety and comfort of telemetry patients
• Documentation of nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients
• Initiates patient education plans focused on cardiac health and risk factors
