Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Stepdown RN for a 13-week assignment in Goldsboro, NC. The role requires 1 year of stepdown experience, valid RN license, BLS and ACLS.

Expect 48 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with travel benefits and comprehensive support from our clinical team. In this travel position you will monitor telemetry, administer cardio-focused treatments, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient care.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) Certification preferred.
• NIHSS Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during cardiac procedures.
• Maintains comfort and safety of telemetry patients.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments.
• Initiates patient education plans focusing on cardiac health.
