Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Uniontown, PA. The role involves caring for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units, with focus on telemetry monitoring and cardiac care.

Required is 1 year of Stepdown RN experience, a current RN license, BLS, and ACLS. Preferred PCCN/NIHSS certifications may be considered. Excellent benefits and a supportive team are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets telemetry data and vital signs, responding to abnormalities.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments per nursing protocols, focusing on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac-related procedures and exams.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; documents assessments and interventions.
• Initiates patient education on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications; collaborates with the care team.
