Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. The Stepdown RN role focuses on caring for patients transitioning from ICU to med-surg, with 12-hour nights and a 36-hour workweek in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of Stepdown experience, active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and PCCN is a plus. Fusion provides competitive pay, benefits, and dedicated clinical support for travelers.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, cardiac rhythms, vital signs and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort for telemetry patients.
• Document nursing histories and assessments for telemetry patients.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
