Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Augusta, GA. You’ll work 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, delivering stepdown care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

The role requires an RN license, one year of Stepdown experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Travel benefits, competitive pay, and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN is required.
• Current RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry, vitals, and cardiac rhythms, and respond to abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed cardiac medications and treatments.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety for telemetry patients.
• Document assessments and nursing history for telemetry patients.
• Provide patient education focused on cardiac health and risk factors.
