Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina. This 13-week assignment features 12-hour nights and 36 hours per week in a Neuro Stepdown unit.

The RN will monitor neuro patients, titrate vasoactive drips, manage ventilator care, and use Epic. Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS; 2+ years of RN neuro stepdown or critical care experience; travel experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with neuro stepdown or related critical care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Must be able to titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips.
• Epic experience is required.
• Experience with central line care, blood product administration, and ventilator management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions.
• Administer medications and titrate IV drips, including Levophed.
• Perform cardiac monitoring and respond to dysrhythmias.
• Care for patients with feeding tubes and perform related management tasks.
• Handle hemodialysis pre/post management and continuous bladder irrigation.
• Apply isolation precautions and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Utilize Epic for charting patient data and outcomes.
