Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU for a 13-week assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The traveler will work 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week, in a Progressive Care Unit, providing care to patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

Candidates must have at least one year of Stepdown RN experience, an active RN license, BLS and ACLS, with PCCN or NIHSS preferred. The role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
• Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
• Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac procedures.
• Maintains patient comfort and safety; observes and reports changes.
• Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
